Rants From A Starving Artist

  It seems like only a couple-of-days-ago I had my ears shortened at the local hair cutting place.  What happened to the old neighbor barber shop.  The old guy who ran the joint,--cut first, and asked questions later, as he was finishing up. Or how about when your dad cut your hair with a bowl--he put on your head, and cut off everything that was exposed.  (I did get rid of a few wrinkles in this selfe drawing)

    After working on a small painting,  I mowed the dang - lawn again,  wearing my allergy masking.     The good news is, there wasn't an unmarked police sitting down the street .     On other thing, what I did noticed was, if you give the weeds, if you give the lawn, a good drink of fertilizer, the weeds'  become greener than regular grass!    Now my yard is about the greenest on the street

There is one big effort required to get over the next hill,  and then you do it again,  however, the next thing is bigger by far, and ------so it goes.   Never let them know than you are tired!!!!!!!!

Just taking it easy, while I think, of how I'm going to be lazy, tomorrow.  Remember, never do                to-day, what you can put with until tomorrow!

There's nothing more dangerous than an idea if its the only one you have. -Mark Twain That is why, I try to keep my mind blank.   Thinking makes me sleepy.     The thing, I like to do, is figure out what I can do tomorrow or the next day.   "Always, have a clear mind"

I realized today, at the box store, that I can't stand being close to potting soil,  without feeling ill.   I also hope winter comes early , so I won't have to fill them,  with flowers,  and that stuff in the bag.

THE CREAM RISES TO THE TOP!   After some 30 years, I've told that if you do a good job-"the cream will rise to the top". Well I beg to differ with you,  Bob,---- all that means is the milk is going bad!  Or, I guess I could say my time is yet to come.   If it does not happen soon, I'll be to old to hang on to a paint brush, or camera.
